The major events celebrated include the birthday of Grand Master Lu, the birthdays of the Eight Principal Deities of True Buddha Sect and main Buddhist festivals such as Vesak Day. In addition, True Buddha Shi Cheng Temple also organizes activities such as the release of animals, Ganachakra (Feast Offering), Fire Offering Ceremonies, and assistance in funeral rites.
True Buddha Shi Cheng Temple annually invites Dharma Masters from overseas for a major dharma ceremony. This aims to extend the awareness of Grand Master Lu’s True Buddha practices and allow sentient beings to come into contact with this rare and unequalled Tantric lineage.
For the past few years, True Buddha Shi Cheng Temple has organized the following activities.

Invited Dharma Master Lian Hai to conduct discourses on sutras. Since 2003, Dharma Master Lian Hai has competed discourses on a number of sutras and scriptures such as the Diamond Sutra, Lam Rim Chen Mo (菩提道次第廣論) and the Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path of Enlightenment (大智度論).

True Buddha Shi Cheng Temple regularly invites Dharma Masters from all over the world to preside over the major dharma ceremonies. These include Dharma Masters Lian Huo, Dharma Master Lian Shi, Dharma Master Lian Zhu, Dharma Master Chang Zhi, Dharma Master Chang Ren. In 2004, True Buddha Shi Cheng Temple organized the 3 major Fo Mu. Fire offering. In 2005, the temple organized the Seven Medicine Buddhas Fire offering ceremony. In 2006, the Vajra Acalanathah、Vairocana Buddha(大日如來) and Marichi Boddhisattva fire offering. In 2007, Fire Offering to the 3 main Wealth Deities from the Heavenly, Earth and Sea realms (Red Jambhala, Prithvi Vidyaraja and Dragon King). Each event saw about 5000 participants and a few hundred new disciples seeking Refuge.

From the beginning of 2007, True Buddha Shi Cheng Temple officially became the Singapore branch of The Enlightenment (Randeng) magazine and is now involved in the administration, accounts and also the distribution of the The Enlightenment (Randeng) magazine.

Future Plans |
Thanks to the benedictions and blessings from Grandmaster, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, True Buddha Shi Cheng Temple has flourished over the years. The current building has exceeded its capacity to accommodate the increasing number of dharma brothers and sisters coming to the temple. Plans are on the way to build a bigger and grander temple in order to continue its task of delivering more sentient beings and let the lineage of True Buddha Temple benefit more people. Building a temple is a sacred task, we welcome people from all walks of life to contribute in anyway they can and build a better future together. |
