Lin Shi Feng and Chen Zhi Long dharma lecturers were secondary school classmates. At the young age of 15, both attended a Buddhist studies course. After completing the course, they felt a need to take refuge in a dharma master. It was at that time where a friend introduced Shi Feng to Yuan Xi Tang (now known as True Buddha Shi Cheng Association). He was very impressed and moved by the passion and enthusiasm of the True Buddha disciples there and felt as if he has entered a very well established school. Thus at the age of 19, Shi Feng Dharma lecturer took refuge in True Buddha School.
Despite his hectic schedule as a fund manager, Shi Feng Dharma lecturer is unwavering in his daily practice. He set aside time for short retreats for dharma cultivation. He has also completed over 1000 fire offerings and since obtaining the smoke offering benediction by Grand Master Lu, Shi Feng will perform Smoke Offering Practice each day before going to work. He feels that if there is not cultivation, he would like a normal being, worrying trivial things. Through his constant cultivation and understanding of Buddhism, he realised the importance of the teachings of the Buddha and Bodhisattvas and also developed a deeper understanding and appreciation of the karmic laws surrounding our daily lives. He also realised that the only way to break this cycle is Buddhism.
Zhi Long dharma lecturer works in a computer informatics company. Despite his daily commitments, he will definitely set aside one and a half hours each day to practice Root Guru Yoga and main Deity Yoga. On his way to work, he will focus on reciting mantras. Zhi Long dharma lecturer has diligently amassed; root guru short mantra (上師心咒短咒) 6000 000 times, 400 fire offerings (護摩), Prthiviye Mantra (安土地真言) 300 000 times, Ragaraja mantra (愛染明王) 600 000 times, Ucchusma Vajrapala (穢跡金剛) mantra 1000 000 times. He shared his thoughts, reciting mantras can eradicate negative karma and is also his favorite activity. After each benediction, he will patiently complete the required number of mantra recitation as decreed by Grandmaster.
Shi Feng Dharma lecturer is a quick-thinking and creative person. Each year, Shi Cheng True Buddha Association will organize a few major dharma ceremonies. Shi Feng Dharma lecturer will be contributing ideas and thinking of novel ways to make each ceremony unique and grand. He shared his sentiments, "The best thing about True Buddha Sect is that Grand Master Lu has transmitted a myriad and variety of dharma which benefits and delivers his disciples in countless of ways.
After each dharma ceremony, Zhi Rong Dharma lecturer will undertake the important role of education for disciples who has newly taken refuge. For the past seven years, he has compiled notes from Grand Master's writings and lectures and shared the essence of Grand Master's teachings to the new disciples. He will also teach the essential practices of True Buddha School so that the newly initiated disciples will have a solid foundation and a good start.
